Calendar Girls

1940s pinups are known for being seductive, sexy, and these days, slavishly devoted to our very own George Dubbya. Photographed by Burke Heffner, Things To Look At’s 2008 wall calendar features thirteen saucy ladies, like a ravishing oil refinery profitess and a half-naked homemaker, who can’t help but wish Georgie a fond farewell during the last year of his reign, er, presidency. Printed using soy based inks on partially post consumer recycled paper, and with a biodegradable aqueous coating to boot, this calendar is as eco-conscious as it is satirical. And with 25 percent of the profits going to watch-dog organizations such as the National Resources Defense Council, we can’t help but see this as anything but picture perfect. http://thingstolookat.com/
