Pottery Barn goes organic

After decades of bringing cozy chic to countless homes across the country, Pottery Barn is introducing the masses to another element of must-have decor. With more than 200 stores in the U.S. and Canada, the furniture and home-accessories chain has launched a collection of 100 percent organic sheets, towels, robes, and other bath and bedding textiles. "We're proud to be supporting the organic-cotton farming movement, which will lead to more demand for natural products," says spokesperson Lauren Nelson. Shoppers at Pottery Barn's two age-specific stores can get their hands on organic goods, too: Pottery Barn Kids offers a line of organic-cotton baby apparel, crib mattresses, and bath linens, while PBteen lets the high-school set deck out their rooms with organic-cotton bedding.
