Natural Selection

This just in! Origins’ first organic line is slated to hit shelves this October. It took the company two years to develop Origins Organic, which is comprised of nine products ranging from a coconut and vanilla lip balm to conditioning hair oil with lavender, peppermint, and rosemary. Six of the products will carry the USDA organic certification seal—no small feat, as personal care products have to contain at least 95-percent organic ingredients and meet the same standards that, say, an organic fruit juice or cereal bar would have to meet. The three products that don’t have the seal still contain at least 70 percent organic ingredients. Snap up yours at Origins retail stores, some department stores, and online.
