Leader of the Packs

1564

The folks at Osprey Packs had a question: Is it possible to build a backpack out of recycled materials? And now they have an answer: Yes, it is, and they can make messenger bags, too. Osprey's ReSource bags are almost entirely constructed out of recycled materials, from old soda bottles (which get ground and woven into polyester) to bits of old buckles (which are used to make new ones). There are six styles—four backpacks and two messenger bags--which will be available at the end of the summer, all with handy features like laptop sleeves, mesh pockets, and "music pouches" for MP3 players. Looks like anything's possible.
