Shortnose sturgeon population growing in Hudson River


Here's a story about a fish that didn't get away: the endangered shortnose sturgeon population in the Hudson River is actually on the upswing, according to a report published in the journal PLoS ONE. The sturgeon's population is up 400 percent in the Hudson, although it has not fared so well in other parts of the U.S.
