IOL: More shark species added to endangered list

Worldwide, shark species continue their rapid decline due to accidental fishing and fin-harvesting for Asian delicacies. This week, the World Conservation Union added several species -- including three species of thresher sharks -- to its Red List of endangered species, and downgraded one other shark species to "near threatened" status.
