2008 budget cuts funding for endangered species


President Bush's 2008 budget, released on Monday, cuts funding for endangered species by $5.5 million from 2006 levels, according to the Center for Biological Diversity. Their report also cites numbers requested by the green community and shows just how far off the budget is from those numbers.
