Texas bighorn: "We're no longer endangered, so start shootin'!"

Twelve lucky (and rich) hunters gets to start taking pot-shots at Texas bighorn sheep, a species once almost gone, now up to a whole 822-1000 members. That means it's shootin' time. Permits are issued on a lottery basis for $10 a ticket; when issued, the permits go for tens of thousands of dollars on the secondary market.

I guess if you're rich, you're allowed to kill whatever you want. (Hey, where's Dick Cheney?)
