Maine landowners get conservation dollars

The Bangor Daily News reports that Maine's landowners can receive incentives to preserve habitats for "at-risk" species.

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife grant of $945,760 (how the heck did they come up with that number?) supports the three-year-old Landowners Incentive Program, which seems to primarliy support operations on state-government-owned land.
