Gun-crazy Montana wildlife board nearly triples bison hunt

I'm not sure which is winning out here: cattler paranoia or hunter glee. Anyway, Montana's wildlife commission has just decided to triple the number of hunting licenses for culling bison who wander out of Yellowstone park. According to the AP, "The state considers the hunt part of a plan to manage bison that migrate from Yellowstone and may carry the cattle disease brucellosis, which is present in Yellowstone's bison herds." -- never mind that there has never been a proven case of bison-to-calltle brucellosis transmission.
