Chinese Consumer Key to Saving World's Sharks

As the wealth of the average Chinese consumer grows, so does their taste for luxury items -- literally. In this case, the demand for shark fin soup -- once reserved for Emperors and more recently served to impress guests -- has placed dramatic pressure on shark populations worldwide.

Now, a campaign from an organization known as WildAid hopes to turn the tides and convince Chinese consumers to keep shark fin soup off of their menus.
