The Plight of Plants

"Plants probably never got as much public attention just because plants don't move; often times plants are very small, minute and just not as much attention paid to them." -- That's federal biologist Jack Beall, talking to television station KATU in Oregon. Beall warns that, while tigers and bears and cute cirtters get the most attention, the plight of plants should not be ignored.
