Prairie chicken gets a boost

The endangered prairie chicken seems to rely on a fairly specific habitat; grasses that are too thick or too thin put the species at risk. With the species down to about 500 birds, a new plan hopes to increase that population to 3,000 over the next ten years. The plan could help revitalize the entire prairie ecosystem.
