Pregnant Sumatran rhino = hope for the species

The gestation period of the rare Sumatran rhino is a staggering 16 months -- which may help to explain why the species is critically endangered. Their solitary nature doesn't help, as two rhinos are "more likely to fight each other than to mate," reports the Associated Press, which provides full information on a rare pregnancy at the Cincinnati Zoo
